Whittaker and Watt Chartered Architects evolved from the former practices of O N Wheeler Design Partnership through J W Whittaker Chartered Architects to become Whittaker and Watt Chartered Architects when John Whittaker was joined in partneship in 1986 by William and Kenneth Watt.

For the last 32 years, Whittaker & Watt and its predecessor firms have been located at the same site on the Antrim Road in Newtownabbey on the outskirts of Belfast.
